I heard about Barbara Kingsolver through advertisements of her novel Demon Copperhead. Such a unique title and, as I found out, it related to David Copperfield.
I put a few of her books in digital form on hold, and received the first; her book of short stories titled Homeland and Other Stories. I opened it up and read the first paragraph of the first story, Homeland, and I'm hooked. This is it below. I stopped and had to write something here. I cannot WAIT to read more.
